Introducing The Ministry of Baseball
Back in 2019, when Major League Baseball first came to London, I (CJ) was sat in the right field stands looking across a £250,000 baseball field at the Ministry of Sound DJ booth behind home plate(ish). I mused to myself that a baseball would fit perfectly into the centre of the logo and thus the Ministry of Baseball was born. The idea of it, at least.
I hadn't really fleshed out what the Ministry was until the pandemic decided that everyone should stay home and think long and hard about everything until they go mad. And go mad I did, with idea of focussing the Ministry on baseball outside of the mainstream. No MLB for me, I'll take sandlots in Nicaragua, Buddhist temples in Nepal and most importantly, the baseball fields of Britannia herself.
Which is where we sit today, the Ministry's goal is to bring the global baseball community an outlet to learn about the wonderful world of British Baseball, and the UK community a local source of news from diamonds in far off lands. By order of the Ministry of Baseball.
